Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
Your BAH will be used in one of two ways. You can either rent on base or you can live off base. If you live off base, you can either rent or buy. Click Here for current BAH rates.
On Base Housing ( Rent On-Base )
You can contact the housing office at 609-723-4290. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on Base housing to include wait times.
Off Base Single Family Rentals-You can choose to rent off base if you wish. Check our database for available single-family homes.

McGuire Air Force Base has offered support for every major American contingency operations from 1955 to present. Operations have included Vietnam, the Grenada rescue effort, Operation Shield and Desert Storm. McGuire Air Force Base is located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was established in 1937. In 2009, McGuire Air Force Base became part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. McGuire Air Force Base is home to the 87th Air Base Wing which provides mission-ready Airmen to support ongoing combat operations. McGuire and Fort Dix have privatized housing, and military personnel are asked to check in at the Government Housing Office to be assigned to available housing. The on-post housing list is dependent on rank and the number of bedrooms desired. For further information on homes for rent or sale and off-post properties, call the housing office at #609-754-3397. If temporary lodging is needed for those on a waiting list, the Falcon Lodge can be contacted for reservations. The lodging facility is located at Tuskegee Airman Ave, located next to the Child Development Center and across the street from the Airman and Family Readiness Center. If arriving in summer, families will need reservations. Ten days of temporary lodging is fully reimbursed. After the initial 10 days, the basic allowance for housing will be required to cover the cost of any remaining days. For elementary school age children who live on base, students will attend school in the North Hanover Township School District, and middle and senior high school in Northern Burlington County Regional School District. If you do not reside on-base, it will be unlikely to find off-post housing within an available school district due to the rural communities. McGuire Air Force Base is located within 2-4 miles of many colleges and universities.
